Description
We are seeking a highly organized and accountable individual who is good with details and numbers to handle our internal bookkeeping and day-to-day office management. The Bookkeeper / Office Administrator reports to Coaptโs Director of Product Operations and has other strong liaisons with the companyโs Executives, Engineering Managers, Operations team, and Regulatory Compliance & Legal Affairs Manager.

Responsibilities
Bookkeeping
Reconcile accounts monthly, post transactions regularly, and categorize expenditures
Enter and pay vendor bills and charges
Bill clients and handle minor collection communications
Liaison with our outside CPA
Create and send Purchase Orders
Potential growth into payroll processing, managing statesโ employment tax compliance, processing government grant drawdowns.
Office Administration
Order & maintain office supplies
Maintain general appearance and presentation of small office space
Answer callbox access calls and greet office guests (infrequent)
Triage some incoming company calls
Contribute to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards
Maintain a positive attitude while participating with a team and communicating with others
Qualifications
Education
An accounting degree at the associate’s or bachelor’s level or a degree in business administration is beneficial. Finance or math education is considered an asset.
Experience
Bookkeeping experience required, 3 years minimum (QuickBooks Online preferred)
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Google Sheets, and Google Docs
Office administration experience
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
