Blair Lock is a technologist, an established leader, and a well-known pioneer in the field of advanced upper limb prosthetic control. He is the leader and co-founder of Chicago’s Coapt–a Hanger Products and Services company–the world’s leader of myoelectric pattern recognition systems for upper limb prosthetics. Prior to Coapt, Mr. Lock was a founding leader for the research group at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab that developed the groundbreaking Targeted Muscle Reinnervation surgical technique. Blair has been dedicated to academic and commercial advancements in the field of upper limb prosthetics and myoelectric control for over 20 years and holds graduate degrees in engineering, entrepreneurship, and management.
